# Forestry Mulching in Gainesville, FL

Want to see and walk your property again without hauling everything away? We shred suitable brush and small trees into a layer of mulch, working around the trees you want to keep.

- Mulch underbrush, woody shrubs and suitable small trees.
- Assess stems up to 7 inches for the actual machine and site.
- Leave mulch on-site; buried roots stay in the ground.

## How Our Mulching Process Works

We use a forestry-equipped compact track loader with a drum mulching attachment. After marking trees and clearing limits, we work through the brush in controlled passes. Suitable stems around 5–7 inches need a machine and site check. The shredded material stays as ground cover.

## Palmetto, Gallberry and Pine Regrowth

Around Gainesville, pine flatwoods can have saw palmetto, gallberry and young trees beneath the canopy. Suitable brush can be mulched while marked trees stay. In shaded areas, invasive coral ardisia or Chinese tallow may need a separate follow-up plan. Cutting growth does not guarantee it will stay gone.

## Pricing

Starting at $2,500 per project. Final pricing depends on access, vegetation, ground conditions and the agreed work.

## Past Forestry Mulching Project

2-Acre Forestry Mulching

The customer wanted to open up 2 acres of wooded area. We mulched dense underbrush and smaller trees while keeping the marked trees. The cut material stayed on the ground as mulch, leaving the area easier to walk and maintain.

Cost: $3,200. Timeline: 1 day.
